Booking Policy 

Confirmation of Reservation
A text message will be sent 72 hours prior to your scheduled reservation to confirm your booking. If you are unable to attend, you may reschedule or cancel through the link provided in the message. Alternatively, you may contact our team directly via phone at (03) 8842 3777 or email at info@chachingmelbourne.com.au to modify your booking.
Please note, we reserve the right to cancel any unconfirmed reservation after reasonable efforts have been made to contact you.

Cancellation or No-Show Policy
To avoid a cancellation fee, we kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations to your booking. Failure to do so may incur a charge of $40 per person, which will be applied to the credit card used to secure the reservation.

Large Party Booking

Please note that for parties of more than 7 guests, we kindly request that you contact the restaurant directly to arrange your booking.
For groups of 6 or more, a banquet menu selection will be required.

Payment Policy

  • A 1.1% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
  • A 15% surcharge will be applied on public holidays.
  • A 10% surcharge will be applied on Sundays.

Please note, we do not offer split bills. Thank you for your understanding.

Dining Time Limit Policy

  • Groups of 1 to 5 guests will have a 90-minute time limit for dining.
  • Groups of 6 or more guests will have a 180-minute time limit for dining.

Late Arrival Policy
All reserved tables will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes. After this time, the reservation may be subject to cancellation.

Liven Application Policy

  • Liven payments can be redeemed from Monday to Wednesday only.
  • Liven $BrandDollar will expire at the end of September.
  • Liven payments will no longer be accepted after November.

These terms and conditions are effective from October 8nd, 2024, until further notice.

Food and Safety Policy

Please be aware that many of our menu items may contain traces of gluten, nuts, or dairy. If you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements, kindly inform your server.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted on the premises. This policy helps minimize hygiene risks, as we work diligently to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Consuming external food or drink could introduce the potential for foodborne illnesses, for which we cannot be held responsible.

While we warmly welcome guests to bring birthday cakes to celebrate special occasions, please note that, in line with our Food and Safety Policy, cakes brought from outside are not permitted to be consumed within the restaurant.

However, if you wish to have your cake served in-store, a cakeage fee of $5 per person will apply.
